Born in 1972, Mrs Tao Ping received a Bachelor in Vietnamese from the PLA Foreign Language University (Information Engineering University today). She started her career in 1995 and took a number of positions as a Discipline Inspector from 2010 to 2019 in CNOOC. In November 2019, Mrs Tao was appointed Team Leader of Party Discipline Inspection and Member of the Party Committee of CNOOC EEI.
